Suggested Route 1: Grand Panoramic Tour – Pesaro, Gradara and the Coastal Road
Start in Pesaro, a lively city on the Adriatic coast and the birthplace of the composer Gioachino Rossini. A walk through the historic centre and along the coast provides a wonderful start to this day trip.
Continue to Gradara, with its impressive medieval castle and charming historic centre. From here, you can enjoy beautiful views across the surrounding countryside towards the Adriatic Sea.

One of its most impressive sights is the magnificent Ducal Palace (Palazzo Ducale). Urbino is also the birthplace of the famous Renaissance artist Raphael.
