Swimming pool – care and cleaning

To ensure that you can enjoy a clean and well-maintained pool at all times during your stay, regular maintenance is necessary. We distinguish between the daily pool maintenance by our guests and the larger technical pool maintenance by our employees.

Daily pool maintenance – by our guests

Especially in summer, the wind and the surrounding nature repeatedly cause leaves, insects and other impurities to enter the pool. Therefore, we ask you to do the following several times a day:

  •  to check and empty the skimmer baskets
  • use the landing net to remove leaves and other impurities from the surface of the water

These small jobs only take a few minutes, but are very important for good water circulation and a clean pool.

Great pool maintenance – by Ca Piero staff

The more extensive pool maintenance is of course  carried out by Ca Piero employees. Depending on the outside temperature, use of the pool and water quality, this takes place several times a week.

These include, in particular:

  • Cleaning the pool with the pool robot
  • Cleaning and backwash of the pool technology
  • Control of water quality and replenishment of the necessary pool chemistry
  • Filling up the pool water if necessary

For this work, our employees have to enter the pool area at times. Of course, we try to carry out the care in such a way that you are affected as little as possible during your holiday.

Thank you for your help with the daily care. Together we will make sure that the pool stays clean and that you can enjoy it at any time during your stay.

Pool rules – for a safe and pleasant stay

Our pool is designed to be a place for all guests to relax and enjoy. Therefore, please observe the pool and safety rules shown on the sign.

The safety of the children, mutual consideration and the cleanliness of the pool area are particularly important to us.

Please note in particular:

  • Never leave children unattended at or in the pool.
  • Don't swim alone.
  • Do not run, jump or endanger other guests by playing wildly.
  • Please shower before using the pool.
  • Eating, smoking and leaving rubbish are not permitted in the immediate pool area.
  • Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the pool.
  • Please wear appropriate swimwear.
  • Contamination of the pool water must be avoided at all costs.

Compliance with the pool rules is the responsibility of our guests. Please help to avoid accidents and keep the pool clean and pleasant for everyone. Thank you!

Pool use – responsibility, supervision and safety

The private swimming pool of Ca Piero is available to our guests during their stay. To ensure that all guests can enjoy the pool safely and carefree, the following safety and conduct rules must be observed.

With the signing of the rental agreement and the use of the pool, these provisions on the use of the pool become part of the agreement and come into force automatically. An additional written agreement on the use of the pool is not required.

Responsibility of guests

During the stay, the responsibility for the safe and proper use of the pool lies with the guests or the renting group.

In particular, guests undertake to:

  • to comply with the posted pool and safety rules at all times,
  • to ensure adequate and responsible supervision of all bathers ,
  • never leave children, non-swimmers and persons with limited swimming ability unattended at or in the pool,
  • keep the access gate to the fenced pool area closed at all times so that children in particular cannot enter the pool unsupervised,
  • Refrain from dangerous behavior, running, inappropriate jumping, wild play, or any other activity that could endanger people.

Lifeguard / responsible supervisor

The organization of the necessary supervision is the task and responsibility of the guests. Ca Piero does not provide a lifeguard and does not take over the personal supervision of the bathers.

Guests are responsible for ensuring that a suitable responsible person supervises the pool during the use of the pool. If required by law or due to the respective situation, guests must arrange for an appropriately qualified lifeguard or lifeguard themselves  .

In particular, the responsible supervisor shall:

  • to observe the bathers attentively,
  • identify possible dangers at an early stage,
  • to ensure compliance with the pool rules,
  • to intervene immediately in the event of dangerous behaviour,
  • initiate appropriate rescue measures in an emergency, and
  • to provide first aid if necessary and to request further medical assistance.

Children and non-swimmers

There is a special duty of supervision for children and non-swimmers.

Children must never be left unattended in the pool area or in the water.

The existing fence and lockable access gate serve as additional security measures. However, they do not replace the personal and direct supervision of a responsible person.

Lifebuoy – exclusively for emergencies

There is a lifebuoy by the pool. This is part of the safety equipment and may only be used for rescue and emergency situations.

The lifebuoy is not a toy.

It must not be used for playing, bathing or swimming and must not be unnecessarily removed from its intended place. After use, it must be returned to its intended place.

Use at your own risk

The use of the pool is at the guests' own risk and responsibility.

Each guest is obliged to use the pool according to his personal abilities and in compliance with the pool rules.

Guests are responsible for the safe and proper use of the pool, as well as for the necessary supervision of the people in their group.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, the Lessor is exempted from liability for any accident, injury or damage arising in connection with the use of the pool, in particular due to disregard of the pool or safety rules, inadequate supervision, improper use of the pool or any other behaviour of the guests.

The legal obligations of the lessor as well as any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory statutory provisions remain unaffected.

Recognition of pool regulations

By signing the rental agreement, guests confirm that they have read and accept these provisions on pool use, supervision, safety and liability. With the use of the pool, these regulations become binding and come into force automatically.

The use of the pool is subject to compliance with the pool rules, the necessary supervision and proper use of all existing safety equipment.

Please help to ensure that the pool of Ca Piero remains a safe place for all guests to swim, relax and enjoy. Thank you very much for your responsible cooperation!

oolshower – please be sure to close the main tap

When using the pool shower, please note that after each shower, not only the shower itself, but also the main tap must be closed.

The main tap is located directly at the water connection of the pool shower. The correct position of the tap can be seen in the picture:

✓ Lever horizontal = CLOSED
✗ Lever vertical = OPEN

Water is precious – please help save water!

Due to climatic changes, persistent heat and increasingly longer dry periods, water has become scarce in our region. Therefore, in Ca Piero we must be particularly careful with our water supplies and absolutely save water.

If the main tap of the pool shower remains open, a significant amount of water can be lost unnoticed. We want to and must avoid that.

Therefore, please check that the main tap is completely closed after each use of the pool shower.

Every litre counts – thank you very much for your help and your responsible use of our water!
