Arrival & Departure – Check-in and Check-out at the holiday home Ca Piero – a guide for our guests

Check-in – from 18:00 to 19:00

In order for us to be able to prepare your arrival and the personal delivery of Ca Piero, we ask you to do the following:

  • Please call us when you pass the Bologna motorway junction on your journey – but no later than about 2.5 hours before your arrival.
  • If your arrival is delayed and you are not expected to arrive between 18:00 and 19:00 , please inform us as early as possible.
  • Please use the directions and coordinates sent by us for the last kilometers.
  • Upon arrival, you will be greeted personally by Mr. Peschke or a person commissioned by us .
  • You will receive a short briefing on Ca Piero and the main facilities of the house.
  • You will then receive the house keys.
  • Together we read the current gas meter reading . Please also take a photo of it with your mobile phone.
  • Please take a quick look around when you arrive. Please report any existing damage or defects to us immediately – preferably with a photo. So it is clear that these were not incurred during your stay and that you are not responsible for them.
  • If the legally required guest registration has not yet been completed in advance, it must be completed at the latest upon your arrival.
  • If a deposit or other agreed cash payments are to be made, please have them ready at the time of handover.
  • If you have a special request (e.g. purchase of drinks and food) before your arrival or if you need anything, please let us know in good time. As far as it is possible for us, we will be happy to prepare this for you.

Feel free to use the personal handover for all questions about Ca Piero and your stay. We prefer to explain something to you right at the beginning than to have ambiguities arise later.

Check-out – by 09:00 at the latest

Please note the agreed departure time of 09:00 at the latest. After that, we need enough time to clean Ca Piero and prepare it for the following guests.

If you leave earlier, we would be happy to receive a short message.

Please take a short tour of the house and the outdoor area before your departure and pay particular attention to the following points:

  • Please report any damage detected or incurred during your stay to us at the latest upon departure, both small and large. Small mishaps can happen and are not a problem. In the case of major damage, liability insurance can often  help.

  • Please check bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and outdoor areas for personal belongings.
  • Leave the kitchen clean and tidy according to our kitchen rule. In particular, please do not leave any dirty dishes or used pots or pans behind and empty the dishwasher completely.

  • Please close all windows and doors before your departure.

Joint handover on departure

During the personal handover, we read the gas meter reading together  . Please also take a photo of the final score with your mobile phone.

Please return to us any house keys you have received .

Of course, you will also receive your deposit back when you hand it over together, provided that there are no outstanding amounts or damage that still needs to be clarified.

If no one is present when you leave

If, for example, the personal handover has already taken place the day before and none of us are present when you leave, please place all house keys clearly visible on the kitchen table.

Then please check again that all windows and doors are closed.

Before you set off – one last quick check

✓ Personal belongings fully packed?
✓ Fridge and freezer emptied?
✓ Kitchen clean and dishwasher emptied?✓ Garbage disposed of?✓ Damage reported?
✓ Gas meter reading read and photographed?
✓ Deposit refunded?
✓ All house keys returned or deposited on the kitchen table?
✓ All windows and doors closed?

Then everything is done.... Thank you!
